Always a big day! This is an important time for students and families to reflect on the achievements, progress and improvements students made during this first term, and to focus on the upcoming challenges for the next one.
Students read their report cards in the last period of the day before they take them home. If they have any questions, they can ask their teachers before going home. DWA believes that students should be able to intelligently discuss their report cards with their parents.
Parent Teacher Interviews are scheduled so that parents can meet with every teacher. Progress, current achievement, and social interaction as well as future areas of focus for each student are discussed and planned out. This in-depth process gives dedicated feedback for every subject. It's one of the extras at DWA.
